The dog this app is named after

We're a rescue family in Dallas. Zeus came to us from a Houston shelter, a big, gentle dog who'd been passed over, the kind shelters quietly worry about. He spent his years as the heart of our house.

Near the end, we learned he was sick later than we should have. His history lived in a folder of papers, a camera roll, three clinics' filing systems, and our memories, and when the questions came fast (when was that lump first noted? what did the bloodwork say last spring?), we couldn't answer them. We had done everything for him, and in the moment it mattered most, we felt helpless anyway.

Zeus for Pets exists so no pet parent ever feels that again.
